How UC helps three Central Valley farmers feed America

But in California, where farming has grown into a $60B industry, science is happening down on the farm — and research has literally become an essential part of putting food on the table.

From developing the Rosy Red Valencia orange to farming a smorgasboard of produce and textiles to sustainable irrigation methods, UC Agriculture and Natural Resources plays a critical role in helping farmers throughout California succeed in every facet of the production process.
