UC Programs in Medical Education (UC PRIME) is an innovative training curriculum, focusing on addressing health care workforce shortages and meeting the needs of California’s communities. The program, which began at UC Irvine in 2004, has since grown to 10 programs across 8 campuses, including the six UC schools of medicine.
