President Milliken invites UCOP staff to join him via Zoom for the next event in his President’s Leadership Conversations Series: a conversation with UC Davis Chancellor Gary S. May on Wednesday, June 17, at 2 p.m. (PT).
Chancellor May will share insights into his career journey and the latest developments from UC Davis. He is well known for his leadership in higher education and partnership with civic and business leaders. In 2015, President Barack Obama honored him with the Presidential Award for Excellence in STEM Mentoring — just one of his many accolades for academic excellence, community leadership, and commitment to expanding opportunities for students.
Chancellor May is known for his transformative vision for UC Davis, including progress on special initiatives such as Aggie Square; for connecting with students as one of the system’s most Instagram-ready leaders; and his passion for Star Trek!
The event will be recorded and posted at a later date for those who can’t attend live.
