The UC National Center for Free Speech and Civic Engagement has just released a new episode of the “Speech Matters” podcast featuring UC President James B. Milliken, chair of the Center, in conversation with Executive Director Michelle Deutchman.

Having just completed his first year as president of the greatest public university, President Milliken joined the podcast to reflect on his decades-long career in higher education, the unique responsibilities of public universities and the state of free expression and academic freedom on today’s campuses.
