Oakland-based employees are encouraged to join the live audience at the Broadway Conference Center. Watch the conversation while enjoying snacks and drinks!

Register to attend in Oakland or by livestream

Advance registration is required for this event. On July 29, all UCOP received an Outlook invitation with a link to a Zoom registration page that includes attendance options to attend in person or virtually and an opportunity to submit questions for Chancellor Lyons. Accepting the Outlook invitation will not register you for the event. You must register via Zoom.

Please note: In-person attendees will have an opportunity to submit additional questions prior to the event. For logistical reasons, we cannot accept questions during the event.

About Chancellor Lyons

Chancellor Lyons is UC Berkeley’s 12th chancellor and its first undergraduate alumnus to lead the campus! He will share his unique perspective on what makes Berkeley special, the role of innovation and entrepreneurship, the most pressing issues in higher education, and the concept of “pride without arrogance.”

About the President’s Leadership Conversation series

UC President James B. Milliken launched the President’s Leadership Conversation series in 2025 as an opportunity for our community to come together and hear from leaders powering positive change across UC, as well as others who will inspire us through their unique perspectives on business, science, the arts and more.

The event will be recorded and posted at a later date for those who can’t attend live. For questions about this series, contact Kate Moser.
