Reminder: Take your 2026 floating flex-week before the end of the year

If you haven’t done so already, mark your calendar and plan for an upcoming flex week.
For most UCOP hybrid employees: Have you used your floating flex-week this year? As a reminder, if you have a hybrid work arrangement, you get one week of your choice this calendar year when you can work from anywhere in the U.S. (all 50 states and the District of Columbia). Just make sure to check with your supervisor about timing and confirm it works with your job responsibilities and any required on-site work.
For Systemwide Shared Services (RASC and UCPath) staff: We appreciate the specialized work you do to support UC employees, retirees and family members. Because of your teams’ unique scheduling demands, Labor Day week (Sept. 7-11) will be a shared remote work week for staff in lieu of a floating flex-week.
