Hispanic Heritage Month is underway at UCPath, with employees coming together to celebrate culture, build connections, learn, and give back.

Hosted by the Latino Staff Association (LaSA), activities so far have included Café con Conchas, community service opportunities, daily trivia and a Leadership & Career Growth conversation.

Daily Hispanic Heritage Month trivia in the UCPath Random Zoom channel has generated strong participation, giving employees a fun way to learn about Hispanic cultures, history, food, influential individuals and traditions.

Employees also participated in a community service activity, creating handmade greeting cards and animal masks for children receiving care at Loma Linda Hospital. The activity offered an opportunity to connect, get creative and give back through a simple act of kindness.

A Leadership & Career Growth conversation with Alex Bustamante, senior vice president and chief compliance and audit officer, gave employees the opportunity to hear perspectives on leadership, professional development and continued growth.

“Hispanic Heritage Month is not simply something we observe. It becomes an opportunity for connection, understanding, appreciation and meaningful engagement,” said Manuel “Manny” Kauss, LaSA.
