Excel Advanced Data Analysis
Sept. 12 & Sept. 19, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Microsoft Excel includes several tools for analyzing large amounts of data. By making the most of these tools, you can change how you do business. This course will teach you how to mine the answers hidden in your data to unlock the analysis power of Excel.
Box Fundamentals
Sept. 12, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
This course provides an overview of Box, a cloud-based service that provides secure file storage and file sharing at UCOP. We’ll cover the basics of using Box, collaborating with colleagues and people outside UCOP, file comments, folder permissions, shared links and more. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions.
Excel Intermediate/Advanced
Sept. 25 and Oct. 2, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Microsoft Excel has hundreds of features and functions. In this two-session course, we’ll cover core Excel features and featured tools, including SumIFs, AveregeIFs and CountIFs; tables with structured referencing; and Pivot Tables.
Box Advanced
Oct. 10, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Want to know how to securely store sensitive data in Box? Interested in how to get data into Box via email or url? Sign up for this advanced Box class and we will cover a wide range of topics including setting up alerts to monitor folders and using Box groups to manage collaborations.
Excel Power Pivot
Oct. 17 and 24, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Advance your Excel skills by learning Power Pivot! In this class you’ll become familiar with the PowerPivot application, including how to import data, manipulate data in a PowerPivot worksheet, create reports using PowerPivot data, use DAX functions in PowerPivot, and distribute PowerPivot Data.
Creating Accessible Documents
Oct. 23, 10 – 11:30 a.m.
Digital accessibility is about ensuring users with disabilities can easily access and engage with any digital content. In this course, you will learn the principles of digital accessibility, how to generate accessible Microsoft Office documents and how to export these to PDF.
