History of ethics and compliance with UCOP’s Mark Meaney
Come to a brown bag lunch on Wednesday, May 4, 12:15 to 1 p.m. in 5320 Franklin, where Director of Ethics and Compliance Mark Meaney will give a talk about the origins of business ethics, corporate compliance and UC’s compliance program.
Meaney, an expert on organizational ethics, has titled his talk “Humble Beginnings in Community Values: A Brief History of the Ethics and Compliance Movement.”
The event is part of a weeklong celebration of National Compliance and Ethics week by UCOP’s Office of Ethics, Compliance & Audit Services (ECAS), May 2 through 6.
ECAS will staff an information table, Monday, May 2, through Thursday, May 5, and Friday, May 6 (during the First Friday Breakfast), in the Franklin Lobby to share information about their program with UCOP staff.
