UC’s travel program, Connexxus, is holding training sessions this week for UCOP staff.  Among other things, you can learn about the new Southwest link on the Connexxus portal that gives double rewards to travelers who book through Connexxus.

What is Connexxus?

Connexxus is a Web portal for booking travel. Connexxus links to booking options, agent contact information, and help for choosing the best options for your travel. When you book your travel through Connexxus, you’ll receive UC-negotiated prices with airlines, hotels, and car rental companies.  UCOP employees can also save money on personal travel by using this Portal to book trips.

Who should attend?

• Anyone that travels for work
• Travel arrangers
• Anyone that travels for personal reasons

What will take place in the training?

You’ll get an overview of the Portal, complete a travel profile, and review the online booking tools. Plus, you’ll learn about the latest addition to the Portal—a link to book directly with Southwest Airlines.

When is the training?

Thursday, Nov. 5 – 10:00-11:30 a.m., Room 11326 Franklin

Friday, Nov. 6 – 9:30-11:00 a.m., Room 10325 Franklin
