Hire a UC Berkeley student as a summer intern
The Level Playing Field Institute will talk about its internship program, and how UCOP departments can connect with their scholars, at a noon, brown-bag talk April 15 in Franklin, Room 10325.
The institute’s IDEAL program invests in high-achieving, low income Latino/a, African-American, Native American and under-represented Asian undergraduates, providing scholarships and wrap-around support to ensure academic and leadership success at UC Berkeley and beyond.
IDEAL Scholars understand the value of gaining meaningful work experience to supplement their education. Through the IDEAL Internship Program, the Institute searches for and connects quality companies and nonprofit organizations with our high caliber IDEAL Scholars.
Come learn about how your UCOP department might be able to hire one of these IDEAL scholars for a summer internship.
The talk is sponsored by UCOP Cares. For more information, contact Trish Hare at (510)987-9124 or via email Trish.Hare@ucop.edu
