Join Institutional Research and Academic Planning (IRAP) for another guest speaker in a series that examines the future of California’s higher education system.

Linda Johnsrud, associate vice chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of Texas system, will visit UCOP with a talk entitled “Graduating ‘on time’: Does it matter?” The brown bag takes place 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, in 5320 Franklin. Johnsrud’s presentation will focus on why we should care about students graduating on time and how we can begin to change the culture around degree completion.
IRAP is a relatively new department at UCOP that generates information and analysis about the university and external issues to provide stakeholders systemwide with the data they need to manage, plan and make decisions.
The goal of the IRAP series is to bring policymakers from government, nonprofits and higher educational institutions to OP to generate an atmosphere of intellectual exchange and help keep IRAP as well as all OP staff current on rapidly developing issues in the area of higher education policy.
