Author and UC alumna Natalie Baszile to speak today
The celebration of Black History Month continues with today’s talk by Natalie Baszile, presented by the UCOP Department of Diversity and Engagement and the Black Staff and Faculty Organization. The event will in Franklin Lobby 1, 12-1 p.m.
Baszile, a UC Berkeley and UCLA alumna and author of “Queen Sugar,” will speak and read selections from her book. “Queen Sugar” was named a top 2014 novel by the San Francisco Chronicle and Salon Magazine.
