Get serious about safety: It’s UCOP Safety Awareness Month

October is UCOP Safety Month, a time to pause and think about how to protect yourself in an emergency or just while you work.
Over the next four weeks, the UCOP Safety Team will host special displays in the Franklin building. Each week will have a different theme — fire prevention, emergency preparedness, ergonomics — with the final week devoted to the UCOP Safety Team and new safety resources for staff. Floor wardens and Department Safety Coordinators will pass out information in the Kaiser, Broadway and 20th Street buildings.
Stop by the displays to read the important safety information on the posters and talk with the Department Safety Coordinator or Floor Warden to be entered into a raffle to win a $25 Peet’s gift card, a full WorkFit membership or an iPad mini. You can enter the raffle once each week.
