Executive Director of UCOP Operations Thera Kalmijn has announced that Nancy Pluzdrak has been appointed executive director of UCOP Human Resources. Pluzdrak, who will report to Kalmijn, will start on Monday, March 21.

In her role at UCOP, Pluzdrak will oversee all aspects of UCOP Human Resources including: the HR business partner team, the learning and development team, and the Talent Acquisition team. In addition, Pluzdrak will focus on strategies to continue to better align our HR operations and services to meet the needs of the divisions and departments at UCOP, and she will serve as a senior advisor in local HR matters to UCOP leadership.

Pluzdrak arrives at UCOP with deep experience in all facets of human resources. Most recently, she provided HR consulting services focused on helping organizations develop talent management systems, leadership development, organization development and design, executive coaching, organizational assessments, organizational assessments, training and development, 360 degree feedback, and organizational effectiveness. Also, as a former Global VP of Human Resources at Daymon Worldwide, she led all global HR functions and international operations, and drove organizational transformation in alignment with the company’s strategies.

Pluzdrak has an MBA and a doctorate in Education with a focus on Organizational Change, both from Pepperdine University.
