Attend a live theater presentation to fulfill your annual training requirement
Every member of the UC community has a responsibility to keep our locations free from sexual violence and sexual harassment. To prepare you to fulfill this obligation, a comprehensive training program has been put into place.
All employees on payroll with active status, regardless of previous training taken, are required to complete training on sexual violence/sexual harassment prevention and response as follows:
- Newly hired employees must complete assigned training within six weeks of beginning work.
- All employees will complete annual training.
Employees at UCOP have a choice of two training options:
- A live presentation by Life Theater. This event mixes serious education and learning with humor, entertainment and spirited discussion as professional actors dramatize real-life scenarios that illustrate both overt and subtle forms of sexual harassment. Participants can ask questions and give advice about any of the vignettes, and the actors will respond as their characters, creating a lively dialogue.
Date: Thursday, March 29
Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Location: State Building Conference Room at 1515 Clay Street, Oakland
Space is limited for this event, so sign up soon by logging in to the UC Learning Center, entering the search term “SHPT” and reserving a seat.
- A video-based online training delivered through the UC Learning Center. This video contains all legally required content to fulfill your training requirement. After logging in to the UC Learning Center, enter the search term “SHPT” and then launch the e-course.
