- Step-by-step videos: From completing your self-appraisal to verifying UC Learning Center training, making sure your ducks are all in a row has never been easier.
- “How-to” guides: If you’re feeling intimidated by online forms, these guides are a great way to see what type of information and details should go into each field, as well as providing detailed instructions for sections that require a bit more thought. Check out “SMART Goals: A How-To Guide” for tips to make sure your stated goals really are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound.
- eCourses: Get more in-depth training on your own schedule with convenient eCourses. The “Employee Guide to Self-Assessing Your Performance” takes the guesswork out of a task that can sometimes be intimidating.
- Sample forms: Download sample forms in advance to pre-plan your responses.
Attend an in-person or virtual live class
Prefer to get assistance and advice in real time? Live trainings are available to go over the nuts and bolts of the employee and manager roles and to make your experience more meaningful. You’ll learn:
- An overview of the performance management model — how it works and how it serves employees and the organization
- Examples of how ratings and behaviors align
- More about UC’s core competencies, including how they are defined and how to apply them to the responsibilities of your job
- How to give and respond to feedback in a way that’s beneficial for personal and professional growth
