Congratulations President Michael Drake. So glad to see that you are President of the University of California. We need good people to guide the university and keep the UC system the great institution it is. I don’t know if you remember me. I was Jonathan Horton’s secretary and retired from the Ophthalmology Dept. at UCSF 12 years ago. I remember you as a kind and friendly person and have often thought of you over the years. Please forgive me for making you carry all those telephone books while you were on your way to an important meeting. I’m still embarrassed every time I think of that. I wish you well in your new position and look forward to hearing great things about you. All the best to you and your family,
