This Friday: Join BSFO for a Breast Cancer Awareness Month event
This Friday, Oct. 30, the Black Staff and Faculty Organization will present a special Breast Cancer Awareness Month event featuring Zhonnet “Z” Harper, breast cancer patient care navigator, Alameda Health System. Zhonnett will be joined by breast cancer survivors to share stories, talk prevention and discuss National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
A strong advocate of health equity, Zhonnett is a member of Assemblyman Rob Bonta’s Women of Color Commission and an emerging thought leader in the field of navigation. She was recently acknowledged as a 2020 Honoree at the American Cancer Society’s East Bay Gala. In 2014, she was featured on NPR’s StoryCorps.
