Your furlough days expire August 31
Remember to use your furlough days by the end of the month.
Employees covered by the systemwide Furlough Program, which was enacted by the Regents in July 2009, must use their remaining furlough days by August 31, 2010. As outlined in the policy last year, furlough days are not vacation or comp time and can’t be banked for future use or paid out upon separation from the university.
For employees covered by alternate programs, those programs should continue in accordance with Systemwide Labor Agreements and individual campus/location parameters.
