The Council of UC Staff Assemblies (CUCSA) is a systemwide employee resource group, founded in 1974, that maintains and enhances communication within the university community on matters of interest to staff employees in accordance with California laws and Regent policy. All UC locations, including UCOP, are represented. CUCSA’s goal is to provide service to the university by advising and providing a staff perspective to decision-makers.

This Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 12:05 – 12:55 p.m. (PT), attend CUCSA’s quarterly town hall. At this session, open to staff throughout the UC system, you’ll hear updates from the following CUCSA workgroups:

• Retention: Challenges surrounding staff retention can impact productivity, workloads and the psychological well-being of our entire community. CUCSA will dive deeply into total compensation, advancement, wellness and the staff experience to provide a broader view on retention and solutions to address attrition.
• Strategic plan: CUCSA is working to create a strategic framework for its goals and impact over the next few years.
• Internal operations: CUCSA’s internal operations workgroup spearheads work on the strategic framework through targeted administrative roles.

You’ll also learn about opportunities for you to engage directly with CUCSA representatives.
