The next UCOP Town Hall with President Drake will take place on Tuesday, April 16, from 9 – 10 a.m. (PT), in Oakland, Franklin Lobby 1, and via Zoom.
President Drake will provide brief opening remarks and then answer questions from UCOP staff. The president will alternate between questions from in-person attendees and those submitted in advance.

We have admin/staff members (not faculty or senior staff) who have been living out of state since covid. Are these staff members going to be allowed to continue to live out of state and keep their current positions? If so, will there be some flexibility on how often other staff, living in California, comes into the office since we are allowing less senior staff to live out of state and not come in at all. Coming into the office comes with costs, and it seems that some staff get to save on those costs, whereas others have to spend quite a bit on commuting.
