The Broadway Shuttle recently added service from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays and 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturdays to its 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekday service to improve accessibility to Oakland's growing arts and entertainment scene.
Professor William Priedhorsky, program director of Laboratory-Directed Research and Development at Los Alamos National Laboratory, will speak at UCOP on Tuesday, July 19, 12 to 1 p.m., in 11326 Franklin in a talk hosted by VP Steve Beckwith.

The seventh chancellor of UC San Diego and the first woman to be appointed as permanent chancellor, Fox will step down as chancellor in June 2012 to return to teaching and research as a distinguished professor of chemistry at the university.
