Forty-six University of California scholars are among the fellows newly elected to the American Academy for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), making UC the lead institution represented in this year's class.

UC's 10 campuses have joined the American Association for the Advancement of Science STEMM Equity Achievement Change program, making UC the first institution of higher learning to sign on at a systemwide level.
