In response to President Drake’s jobs protection update, EVP/COO Nava issued UCOP’s plan to preserve jobs through a winter curtailment plan.
No decisions have yet been made on the 2020-2021 curtailment program proposed in response to the economic uncertainty posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and long-term core funding challenges.
President Drake has announced that UC is considering a new systemwide expanded curtailment program for additional operational and salary savings due to COVID-19-related budget shortfalls.
