President Drake will hold his first Town Hall with UCOP staff on Friday, Aug. 28. Staff questions are accepted through next Tuesday.

In a livestreamed conversation with UC Board of Regents Chair John Perez on July 10, UC's president-designate talked about the values and experience he brings to the university and what he sees as the key challenges ahead.

On July 7, the Board of Regents selected Dr. Michael V. Drake as UC’s next president. Dr. Drake, an ophthalmologist, has a long and distinguished career in higher education and public service. Most recently he was president of Ohio State University (OSU).
