Michael Waldman appointed customer service manager of Retirement Administration Service Center

Michael Waldman has accepted the position of Customer Service Manager in UCOP’s Retirement Administration Service Center. His appointment is effective February 22, 2010.

Michael has a long history with Customer Service at UC. He previously managed the “Annuitant Health” Unit (now the Retiree Insurance Program Unit), was the UCOP Benefits Manager for several years. He currently works with the benefits staff at the UCSF Medical Center.

Michael, who brings in-depth knowledge of UC’s Retirement and Health and Welfare plans, will serve as the primary interface to the Benefits Managers systemwide.

With his appointment, the Retirement Administration Service Center’s leadership team is now fully in place and is well positioned for the challenges of implementing enhanced technologies and process improvements.
