Pre-order the President's Blend Olive Oil by the end of the day Tuesday, Dec. 7, at a discount. Orders of this special extra virgin olive oil will be ready for pick-up on Thursday, Dec. 16, at the unveiling and tasting event from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Franklin building lobby. Proceeds benefit the UC Davis Olive Center.

Thanks so much for helping to orchestrate yet another successful “First Friday Breakfast” event. It seems that the menu items have been greatly enhanced with quite a few heart-healthy additions. In particular, I was pleased to see the mini-yogurt/granola/strawberry parfait as well as the breakfast burrito choices. The annual crafts fair is Thursday from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. in the Franklin lobby. Jan Corlett will sell hand-made jewelry from Afghanistan, with proceeds helping impoverished women there. Read more.
