If you’re interested in learning practical skills that will help you manage your working relationships, promote your value in the workplace and advance your career, don’t miss this special opportunity to take this course right here at the office.
Amy Levine, Ed.D., a certified leadership coach, educator and consultant for more than 30 years, will facilitate. Sessions will include a mix of lectures, discussion and interactive exercises in these topic areas:
- Promoting yourself
- Networking
- Negotiation
- Organizational politics
- Managing up
- Perspectives on advancement from UC female and male leadership
- Public speaking
- Non-defensive communication
Cost is $550 and space is limited. Please register no later than today, Tuesday, Sept. 2, on the UC Learning Center, and payment in full is due by Monday, Sept. 15, 2014. (Note that your space will not be confirmed until your payment is received.) For more details, contact Jocelyn Banaria at Jocelyn.Banaria@ucop.edu or Hanh Quach at Hanh.Quach@ucop.edu.
The workshop is sponsored by the President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (PACSW).
I thought this course would be a launching pad from Lean In sessions. Too bad this course isn’t offered to Administrative Assistants and I hope PACSW can look into tailoring a course for this group. Thank you.
