Please note that all UCOP Benefits Fair events on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., have moved to the 5 Star Conference Center, 500 12th St., Suite 105. (Walk west on 12th St. toward Clay; after you enter the building, Suite 105 is on your right.) Open Enrollment brown bags will stay in their originally scheduled locations. See more about specific events below.

The UCOP Benefits Office is hosting several events to help you find out what’s new this year so you can make the most of your health care benefits. Be sure to make your Open Enrollment choices by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25.

The 2015 Open Enrollment website is now live, and you have probably already received your Open Enrollment booklet in the mail, so you can get an early start reviewing your options for the coming year. There will be several brown bags (all sessions 12 to 1 p.m.), where you can get answers to your questions from UCOP benefits staff (click on links to add events to your calendar):

The UCOP Benefits Fair will take place Wednesday, Nov. 5, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the 5 Star Conference Center, 500 12th St., Suite 105. (Note change from previously announced location.) The fair is the main event and a great opportunity to learn all about your UC benefits. You can meet with UC medical plan vendors Blue Shield, Health Net Blue & Gold, Kaiser, UC Care and Western Health Advantage, as well as Delta Dental, Health Equity and Vision Service Plan.

Representatives of other UC benefit plans will be on hand, including ARAG (legal plan), CONEXIS (flexible spending accounts), Fidelity Retirement Services and Optum (Behavioral Health and UC Living Well), as well as supplemental insurance providers California Casualty, Liberty Mutual and Prudential. Look for treats, giveaways and raffle prizes.

The UC Financial Education Program will also offer three financial planning workshops at the fair (also at the 5 Star Conference Center). Fidelity Retirement Counselor Nancy Pargot will conduct the sessions, as listed below. Note that seating will be limited.

There will even be a flu vaccination drop-in clinic, also from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 5 Star Conference Center. Only 150 vaccines will be available, free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. All badged staff are welcome; please wear loose clothing and complete and bring your completed consent form with you to the clinic.

I miss the “add to calendar” links. They were useful.

Thanks Ryan! I was having trouble creating them so had to figure out a workaround, which now seems to be working. We always appreciate the feedback.
