The Office of the General Counsel (OGC)’s annual charity Thanksgiving bake sale and silent auction returns for its 32nd year!
You can preorder delectable pumpkin, fruit, and cheesecake pies as well as various types of dinner rolls by stopping by the OGC sales table which will be open:
Dates: Every day from Wednesday, Nov. 1 through Wednesday, Nov. 15
Time: 12 to 1 p.m.
Location: Franklin lobby
Pick-up for the pre-ordered items will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the Franklin 8th floor, alongside the bake sale and silent auction. Proceeds from this year’s events will be divided between two local charities:
- Alameda County Community Food Bank: The food bank provides access to healthy food to members of our community, while partnering with local, state, and federal organizations to advocate for those in need.
- First Place for Youth: A Northern California organization founded in 1998, First Place for Youth provides affordable housing and other support to former foster youth and is a national model for programs supporting high-risk youth.
If you would like to contribute baked goods for this year’s sale, make a donation to one of these charities, or get additional information about the events, please contact Julie.Felkins@ucop.edu or Robert.Harvey@ucop.edu.
