Mark your calendars and save the date! The UCOP Season of Gratitude Celebration will be held:
Date: Thursday, Dec. 14
Time: 2:30 to 4 p.m.
Location: Franklin building
As 2017 draws to a close, it is a natural time to pause and reflect back on a busy and productive year, but also to look ahead at the promise and renewal a new year can bring. Please join us for our annual year-end event for all Oakland-based staff.
As in years past, this event is funded entirely from generous personal donations by UCOP leaders and managers, combining their funds for one large all-staff appreciation event. It’s a great time to mingle with colleagues and UCOP senior leadership. Treats will be provided at several locations (to be announced) within the Franklin building.
In the spirit of gratitude, UCOP Staff Assembly and the UCOP Employee Engagement & Diversity Group are suggesting several ways to say “thank you.”
Staff can send a “gratitude-gram” to any other UCOP staff member which will be delivered the week of Dec. 11. Look for more details on this soon!
UCOP staff are also invited to give to our community. UCOP will kick off a week-long donation drive with different charities such as the Alameda County Food Bank, Hopalong Animal Rescue, and UCSF Children’s Hospital Oakland, among others.
