UCOP’s Marketing Communications team wins multiple higher education awards
A recent video from the award-winning Climate Lab series
UCOP’s Marketing Communications team has received three silver CASE VII regional Awards of Excellence:
- In the category of News and Research Videos for the Climate Lab series
- In the Public Relations, Media and Community Relations category for creative work for the UC Advocacy Network (UCAN)
- In the Communications and Marketing Platinum category for Achieve UC’s marketing materials and website
The department has also won national design awards for some of the same materials.
“We’re excited and honored to have our work recognized by our peers in both higher education and design this year,“ said Chief Brand Officer and Director of Marketing Vanessa Correa. “We owe a big thanks to our truly stellar colleagues and partners in Federal Government Relations, State Government Relations, and Diversity and Engagement, who deserve much of the credit for the success of these projects.”
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) supports alumni relations, communications, development, and marketing professionals at educational institutions worldwide. Their annual awards program showcases best practices in those fields. All 10 UC campuses were also among this year’s award winners in multiple categories.
