Complete the new compliance training by June 30
UC is rolling out a new training course to help employees understand and comply with university standards for ethical conduct. This is a systemwide required training. Employees at UCOP and all UC locations have until June 30, 2018 to complete the training.
You will soon receive an email notification with information about the “UC Ethical Values and Conduct” training, including a link to the course.
This required training is designed to raise continued awareness of the University of California Statement of Ethical Values and Standards of Ethical Conduct, and to emphasize the university’s commitment to ethical and compliant behavior.
All UC employees, except those who are part of the Conflict of Interest for Researchers (COIR) requirement, are required to take this new training.
This course will take 20 to 30 minutes to complete and there will be no final score. Credit will be granted based on completion of the course.
Please note this course will not be assessed as part of the current 2017/2018 Year-End Performance Appraisal. However, it will be assessed as part of the 2018/2019 Year-End Performance Appraisal.
You can access this course through the UC Learning Center, under the Required Training icon on your homepage, or by searching for “UC Ethical Values and Conduct.”
