Don’t miss your chance to participate in the UCOP Multicultural Day photo project!
It’s not too late to contribute to the UCOP Multicultural Day photo project!
As part of the UCOP Multicultural Day celebration later this month, UCOP’s Employee Engagement and Diversity Group (EEDG) is organizing a photo project called “We Are UCOP”/“We are UCPath,” and we’d love for you to participate!
All staff are invited to contribute to this project, which will feature photos of UCOP staff in Oakland and at the UCPath Center with captions they provide to the question “What is your cultural identity?” These photos will be displayed for viewing during the Multicultural Day celebration.
Oakland staff: If you would like to contribute to the Multicultural Day photo project, come to the Franklin fifth-floor patio from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4 and Friday, Oct. 5 and let us take your picture!
UCPC staff has already finished their photo-taking for this project, but please see event information below.
What and when is Multicultural Day?
Multicultural Day is a celebration of the diverse backgrounds and identities of UCOP staff. This event provides UCOP staff with an opportunity to connect with one another and to learn more about the amazing work of UCOP’s affinity groups.
UCOP staff in Oakland: Join your UCOP colleagues on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 12 – 1 p.m. in Franklin Lobby 1 for a celebration of UC staff diversity!
UCOP staff in Riverside: A celebration will also be held at the UCPath Center on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 2:30 – 3 p.m. with treat stations located around the center.
