Join Records Management to learn the results of the records assessment

Mark your calendars to attend the Jan. 17 update on the Building Consolidation Records Project. In November and December, a team of records consultants from Montaña & Associates conducted onsite interviews with almost every UCOP department about their records. The consultants’ assessment is now complete and Records Management will provide an overview of the results on Jan. 17. Please come to this important meeting to learn the next steps BASC and Records Management are taking to help you manage your records in anticipation of the office moves in 2020.

As previously reported in Link, UCOP will be consolidating into two buildings in 2020 to facilitate staff collaboration and reduce costs. 1100 Broadway is being designed without space for paper records storage, other than in individual cubicles and offices. 1111 Franklin will be remodeled and will also have limited paper records storage space outside of offices and cubicles. The records assessment is an important step toward helping you prepare existing records for the move and manage them properly and efficiently in the future.

  • Date: Jan. 17
  • Time: 9:30 to 11 a.m.
  • Location: Franklin Lobby 1

Light refreshments will be served.
