This Wednesday, Feb. 5, UCOP will welcome UC Davis Chancellor Gary S. May for an engaging Chancellor Chat.

Chancellor May is a strong advocate of diversity and inclusion in higher education. In 2015, President Barack Obama honored him with the Presidential Award for Excellence in STEM Mentoring. As chancellor of UC Davis, he has been instrumental in advancing opportunities for students and faculty members of color. Last year, he was the UCOP Black Staff and Faculty Association’s Black History Month keynote speaker.
