Given the extension of shelter-in-place orders in the Bay Area, Riverside and Washington, D.C., UCOP is advising all employees who are enrolled in the Pre-Tax Parking Program through Commuter Check (CCD) for parking and other transit option, to opt-out of pre-tax parking for June.

Review the quick start guide and frequently asked questions for instructions and additional information. All changes must be made by May 1.

Please note that employee parking and transit deductions continue to be a self-managed process. Whether you are parking on a UC-controlled parking property, with a third-party parking company or using pre-paid transit and debit cards, it remains the employee’s responsibility to opt-out through Commuter Check Direct (CCD) or by contacting your third-party parking vendor to discuss options.

UCOP parking reservations

UCOP and Kaiser Center will continue maintaining existing parking reservations, and employees will not lose their parking spaces in the following lots

• 1111 Franklin St. — Oakland
• 145 20^th St. — Oakland
• Frank Mar Garage — Oakland
• Kaiser Center Parking — Oakland
• 14350 Meridian Parkway — UCPath
• 1608 Rhode Island Ave NW — UCDC

BART parkers

If you park in Bay Area BART lots and are unable to use your monthly permit due to the shelter-in-place order, you may request a credit for the month of April. Please email support@Select-a-Spot.com. Requests must be received by May 8th. BART will announce subsequent options for BART parkers on their parking website.

Other parking locations

For other locations, please check with your parking or transit provider to ensure your parking position will continue to be available prior to opting out.
