UCOP support services move locations in the Franklin-Broadway Campus
Several support service teams located at the Franklin-Broadway Campus have moved. While the majority of UCOP staff continue to work from home, a small group of colleagues have relocated to 1100 Broadway and are keeping vital services up and running.
The IT Client Services Team (ITCS) has relocated to the 5th floor of the new 1100 Broadway building. ITCS supports staff in the use of a variety of assets and technologies from smartphones and laptops to software troubleshooting. ITCS now also supports and manages UCOP printers and copiers. Staff with issues that require in-person deskside support (e.g., laptop troubleshooting or repairs) must make an appointment as walk-in services are not available during the pandemic. For support or supply requests, please contact the Service Desk at 510-987-0457 or submit a ticket through Service Now.
The Work Management Center (WMC) is on-site Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and Mail Services is on-site Mondays and Wednesdays, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. These teams share office space in the Franklin lobby, next to lobby 2, near the connection to the Broadway building lobby. Services range from key management to security badging and receiving mail. For questions related to the WMC please contact firstname.lastname@example.org; questions for Mail Services can be directed to email@example.com.
Additional Building and Administrative Service Center (BASC) colleagues on-site include custodial services, event services and facilities management, who have also relocated to the 5th floor in the Broadway building. Call center staff in the Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) moved from the Kaiser building to the 3rd floor in the Broadway building, and the Records Management on-site staff are now located on the 6th floor in the Broadway building.
This small group of colleagues are highlighting a big milestone in our UCOP office consolidation efforts as they are the first occupants of our new modern, sustainable, collaborative office environment.

As a reminder, we will continue with our current remote work and limited on-site status through the end of the calendar year. Employees will return to the office in phases only after the counties in which we operate have opened office spaces.
Staff who need to be present on-site must follow the guidelines of their location. For staff at the Franklin-Broadway Campus, please coordinate on-site visits with your department move coordinator, register in iVisitor, complete the UCOP Screen online survey on the day of your visit, wear a face covering and follow physical distancing protocols and COVID-19-related facility signage.Tags: BASC, COVID-19, office consolidation, RASC
