Susan Buchbinder, M.D., will speak at an upcoming event hosted by the UC Center Sacramento.

The UC Center Sacramento is hosting two upcoming COVID-19 related events. Find out about the latest in COVID-19 vaccine technology and the pandemic’s economic impact from leading UC researchers.

“COVID-19 Vaccines: Where Are We Now and Where Are We Going?”
April 7, 12-1 p.m.

Join UC Center Sacramento for a talk with Dr. Susan Buchbinder, M.D., director of Bridge HIV, with the San Francisco Department of Public Health, and clinical professor of medicine at UCSF. Dr. Buchbinder will focus on the rapid development of highly effective COVID-19 vaccines, challenges to vaccine development and implementation. The Zoom link will be emailed on April 6 to those who have registered by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 5.

“The Impacts of COVID-19 on Small Business Owners, Taxable Sales and College Students in California”
April 14, 12-1 p.m.

Join UC Center Sacramento for a talk with Professor Robert Fairlie, professor of economics at UC Santa Cruz and member of the National Bureau of Economic Research. Professor Fairlie will discuss how COVID-19 has impacted California by using data from April 2020 through January 2020. The Zoom link will be emailed on April 13 to those who have registered by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 12. Register here.
