Managing and Organizing Your Email Inbox

You will learn practical MS Outlook features such as customizing and setting flags; using categories, calendar and tasks to track action emails; advanced searches for easily finding relevant information; and organizing and archiving messages for future reference. LinkedIn Learning for Managers
Aug. 24, 2 – 2:45 p.m.
Learn how to use LinkedIn Learning with your team as a professional learning tool. As a UCOP manager or supervisor, LinkedIn Learning has tools and features to make assigning and tracking team learning easy!

Creating Accessible PDFs
Aug. 31, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
IT Accessibility is about empowering users with disabilities to easily access and engage with online resources. Many of these resources, such as tax forms, annual reports and policy documents, are PDFs. We will cover how to create accessible Word documents, which can be easily converted into accessible PDFs, and to identify basic accessibility issues using Adobe’s accessibility checker.

Microsoft OneNote
Sept. 15, 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Learn the capabilities of OneNote and how to use its features more efficiently. We’ll cover OneNote basics, including interfaces, document creation and importing content, along with time-saving techniques like screen clippings and templates. Plus, learn to find what you need and collaborate with others through sharing and searching.

Excel Advanced
Sept. 22 and Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Targeted to experienced Excel users, this class builds on the key concepts shared in our introduction and intermediate courses. We’ll cover importing and exporting data, formatting numbers, working with ranges and macros, data analysis tools, summarizing data, using “what-if” data analysis and workgroup collaboration. This two-session class is hands-on and highly interactive.

UCOP Box Advanced
Sept. 29, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Are you ready to move beyond the basics in your knowledge of Box Drive? If so, check out this new class led by UCOP’s Lead Application Delivery Engineer Bobby Cook.
