UC Children’s Hospitals receive top 10 ratings in California and the Pacific Region

University of California’s children’s hospitals have all ranked in the top 10 in California and the five-state Pacific region in U.S. News & World Report’s 2022–2023 Best Children’s Hospitals rankings. These annual rankings serve as a guide to hospitals nationwide that excel in treating children with the most challenging diagnoses.
“The health of our children is under increasing threat from a growing number of factors such as infectious diseases, access to nutrition and changes in the environment. The dedication and accomplishments of the teams at UC children’s hospitals is outstanding, especially considering the additional pressures of the past several years,” said Dr. Carrie L. Byington, executive vice president of University of California Health and a pediatrician. “I congratulate them on this recognition and the work they do to provide care for children with the most complex needs, as well as routine and preventative care.”
