June 23, 2022, marked the 50th anniversary of Title IX, the landmark civil rights legislation that, in a single sentence, transformed higher education across the United States. And, one of the most visible — and celebrated — arenas of Title IX’s impact has been collegiate sports. In celebration of all that Title IX has accomplished, the UC Newsroom has compiled some of the standout athletes and programs flourishing across UC campuses.
