Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification Training
UCOP Learning and Development is pleased to partner with UC Santa Barbara Information Technology to offer virtual Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification to all UCOP employees. This program just celebrated its one-year anniversary and was recently highlighted in the UC IT blog.
Lean Six Sigma is a process improvement method that analyzes current data and procedures to identify inefficiencies and improve performance, reduce errors and streamline team output. UC Santa Barbara Lean Six Sigma instructors will facilitate this Yellow Belt certification course at no cost to the participant or department.
Each cohort consists of three three-hour sessions with hands-on practice, project simulations and intersession homework. Attendance at all three sessions is mandatory for course completion. At the end of the cohort, participants will receive a Yellow Belt certificate of completion.
Space is limited to 20 UCOP staff per cohort.
