UCOP HR launches new COVID-19 positive case reporting dashboard
To keep employees informed about the latest COVID-19 developments and resources, UCOP Human Resources is pleased to announce the launch of a new COVID-19 case reporting dashboard that employees can use to stay up-to-date on positive cases at UCOP within the last 15 days.
The dashboard, a recent Cal/OSHA requirement, provides information about when infected individuals were on site during their infectious period, and where, including the buildings, floors, and common areas they may have visited in UCOP’s Sacramento, Riverside, Oakland and Livermore facilities. If an employee is identified as a close contact of an infected individual while they were on site, the UCOP COVID-19 Response Team will reach out to them directly and advise them on next steps.
Additionally, the dashboard includes:
- Definitions, including for the infectious period, which is different for symptomatic and asymptomatic confirmed COVID-19 cases
- Contact information for reporting positive COVID-19 cases or close contacts
- Other COVID-19 resources
While sharing this information with employees is new, UCOP has been conducting contact tracing and tracking this information since the beginning of the pandemic as one of many steps we’ve taken to focus on the health and well-being of employees.
We encourage employees to use the resources and information available on the dashboard to stay informed and help keep themselves and their colleagues safe. We appreciate your continued dedication and commitment to the UCOP community.
As always, please follow UCOP’s COVID-19 protocols. For questions, visit the UCOP Coronavirus website or email: UCOP-Incident-Report@ucop.edu.
