The Asian Pacific Islander Staff Association (APISA) Steering Committee sends a Shout-Out to Patricia Châu Nguyễn, director of systemwide alumni engagement, and Aimee Chang, executive assistant to the provost.
“While not officers of APISA, Patricia and Aimee have been integral contributors to APISA this past year in planning for all of our events and communication.
“Aimee has tirelessly edited various APISA statements and played a key role in framing our letter in response to the travel policy. She was also amazing as a program planner for the inaugural UC Asian Amerian Pacific Islander Symposium. Patricia has been an awesome source of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging knowledge for the APISA officers, and was integral in advocating for APISA staff to take Lunar New Year off. She was key in providing a framework for the inaugural AAPI Symposium. We want to thank them both for being amazing members of our community and valued collaborators.
