Learn how to practice self-care at work

Successful employees have an array of unique skills, talents, personalities and passions — one of which is self-care. But self-care isn’t only important for individuals; it’s also an important component of healthy teams. Creating spaces and opportunities to care for yourself opens the possibility of sustainable, lasting and healthy team dynamics.

In a new course from UCOP Learning and Development, you’ll learn how to adopt self-care practices that can improve your emotional, cognitive and spiritual capacity, while offering you an opportunity to build deeper connections and thoughtful partnerships.

We’ll begin by identifying the components of self-care and exploring the key attributes of each component. Then, we’ll review self-care techniques specific to supporting leaders, and help you create a plan for your self-care practice.
