UC Health presents inaugural leadership development conference
On Friday, March 1, the UCOP Academic Health Sciences team and the systemwide Group for Inclusive Leadership will hold the inaugural UC Health Sciences Leadership Development Conference at the Broadway Conference Center in Oakland. The conference theme is Innovating the Future: Women Leaders as Catalysts for Change.
Staff, faculty and students from throughout the UC Health community are invited to attend the conference to share best practices, connect with UC and national leaders, and discuss strategies to help drive change and innovation. The conference will include dynamic conversations with thought leaders, thematic and TED-type talks, breakout sessions, workshops and networking opportunities.
While the conference theme centers on women in leadership, the conference is intended to incorporate diversity and inclusivity. It is designed for UC Health faculty at all levels, staff in or aspiring to leadership and health science trainees wanting to shape the future of health care. Attendees from all backgrounds are invited to attend, share insights and engage in productive conversations that contribute to a more inclusive and equitable future.
Conference registration is $110 and covers meeting attendance, a welcome reception, breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks.
