Get to know the UC National Labs
The Future of Work Community and Connection Committee is proud to announce the launch of their “Getting to Know You… You Are Here” webinar series. These informative sessions will give you an inside view of the different departments and services that make up the Office of the President.
The first event will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 21, and will feature the UC National Laboratories. The Regents of the University of California have a long and rich history in the management and operation of three U.S. Department of Energy national laboratories as a service to the nation that spans more than 80 years:
- Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab or LBNL) since 1931
- Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) since 1943
- Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) since 1952
Learn about the impact these labs have had locally and nationally, discover some interesting fun facts and gain a better understanding of how the UC National Labs advance UC’ s mission!
