Friday is the deadline to participate in Take Our Kids to Work Day

Take Our Kids to Work Day (TOKTWD) is a national movement that encourages students to explore career possibilities while learning more about their parents’ or guardians’ career and work organizations. UCOP hosted this annual event from 2014 – 2019 and the TOKTWD committee is excited to bring it back in 2024! In November, we surveyed UCOP colleagues to assess their interest, and received overwhelming support to bring the event back.

When and where is TOKTWD taking place?
We will be hosting the event on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in Oakland and at the UCPath Center.
What should I expect?
President Drake will open the day with remarks in Oakland, followed by kids participating in grade-appropriate, interactive sessions hosted by UCOP departments.
How can I participate?
To bring your children to this event, register online here by Friday, March 8. The day is open to kids of UCOP staff in grades 1-12. To volunteer during the event, contact Sujit Thapa.
